For conventional stack flexo machines: The plate roller and impression roller are driven by inter‑meshing metal gears. The number of gear teeth is fixed, which defines a fixed printing repeat length. To produce bags of different lengths, you have to install a new set of metal plate‑cylinders with different diameters. It costs a lot and takes time for disassembly.

Hardware difference on JY‑2C‑1000:

1. Remove inter‑meshed main transmission gear sets between printing stations The plate roller and impression roller are each directly driven by separate servo motors, no power transfer through meshing gears. 👉Visual check: You will not see a bank of interlocking metal gears on the side of printing units. Servo motors connect directly to roller shaft ends.

Servo motors adjust their speed ratio electronically via touch screen. No mechanical gear modification is needed. Printing repeat length is adjusted by software, no longer locked by gear teeth.

2. The metal plate‑cylinder body stays mounted on machine The heavy metal plate‑cylinder body remains fixed on the machine and does not need removal or replacement. You only peel off the old flexible photopolymer plate and mount new patterned flexible plate onto the same metal cylinder surface.
